SRINAGAR: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel arrested a Pakistani intruder along the International Border in RS Pura sector of Jammu Kashmir on Thursday, officials said, as per Daily Excelsior.
This is the second such arrest in the area this month. Alert BSF troops detected movement from across the border and apprehended the man shortly after he entered Indian territory.
No incriminating material was recovered, and the arrested individual is being questioned jointly by security agencies, the officials added.
Earlier, on 8 September, BSF arrested another Pakistani national, Siraj Khan of Sargodha in Punjab province, from the Octroi area of R S Pura after troops opened fire to challenge him near the border fence. Pakistani currency notes were recovered from his possession.
