SRINAGAR: Two individuals from North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, posing as police officers, were apprehended in Jammu on Tuesday.
Sources informed the news agency KS that these two impostors were detained at a Jammu hotel following a complaint from the hotel owner.
The suspects have been identified as Kaisar Jeelani and Mohammad Tanveer from North Kashmir.
Reliable sources also mentioned that both individuals had previous run-ins with the law for their involvement in illegal activities in the Kashmir division.
Meanwhile, a police officer confirmed that a case has been registered, and further investigation is underway. (KS)
