SRINAGAR: Constable Pardeep Sharma, popularly known as Cheeku, who was part of the JK Police Central Sports Football Team, passed away following a sudden cardiac arrest, officials said on Tuesday.
Sharma was a valued member of the police football squad and had represented the force in several tournaments.
Police colleagues and fellow sportspersons expressed deep shock over his untimely demise, remembering him as a dedicated player and committed policeman.
