SRINAGAR: Imran Farooq, a Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS) officer, has been posted as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB), Jammu, with immediate effect.
According to an official order, the transfer and posting were made with the approval of the CBI Director on November 3.
Farooq is regarded for his integrity, sound professional judgement and composed approach to policing.
