SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir police in central kashmir’s Ganderbal district on wednesday have transferred two probationary Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) and posted them as Station House Officers (SHOs) at Sonamarg and Gund police stations with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal Harshal Rajesh Mahajan on October 14, Rakesh Singh, JKPS, has been posted as SHO at Police Station Sonamarg, while Sanjeev Kumar, JKPS, has been assigned as SHO at Police Station Gund.
Both officers have been transferred from the District Police Office (DPO), Ganderbal, as part of an administrative reshuffle.
The order directs the officers to report to their new places of posting on October 15, 2026, during the forenoon.
