The Union Territory is offering 20 services through the Vahan platform and 24 services via Sarathi, allowing residents to access key transport facilities digitally without visiting offices.

The initiative enables faceless and contactless services, including vehicle registration, driving licence issuance, tax payments, and permit-related processes, significantly reducing the need for physical visits to Regional Transport Offices (RTOs).

To enhance transparency and efficiency, the system integrates modern technologies such as Aadhaar-based authentication, e-KYC, digital signatures, and AI-based facial recognition.

Officials said the project is aimed at streamlining transport services across the Union Territory while promoting ease of living and improving accessibility for citizens.
