SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department has ordered the transfer and posting of six principals and lecturers across the Union Territory with immediate effect.
The orders were issued through Government Order No. 392-JK (Edu) of 2026 by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, School Education Department Ram Niwas Sharma.
As per the order, Jai Bharat, presently HoD at DIET Basohli, has been transferred and posted to HSS Jakhbar in Kathua.
Dr Renu Bala, Senior Lecturer in Botany at GHSS Hatli, Kathua, has been posted to GGHSS R.S. Pura.
Mtr Samreen Basharat, Lecturer in Education at GHSS Nishat, Srinagar, where she was listed as surplus, has been posted to GBHSS Rawalpora.
In Srinagar, Lecturer in Commerce Rouf Ahmad Dar has been transferred from GHSS Amira Kadal to SP Higher Secondary School. Lecturer in Statistics Ab Rashid Malik has also been posted to SP Higher Secondary School from BHSS Budgam.
The department has simultaneously transferred Lecturer in Statistics Zahoor Ahmad from SP Higher Secondary School, Srinagar, to BHSS Budgam.
The order was issued in the interest of administration and circulated to the Directorates of School Education Jammu and Kashmir, concerned Chief Education Officers and other officials.
