SRINAGAR: The Jammu-Poonch Highway was blocked near the Lassana area of Surankote on Saturday following a major landslide, bringing traffic movement on the route to a standstill.
Officials said that traffic was halted this morning near Lassana after a massive landslide struck the highway, blocking the road and disrupting vehicular movement.
Authorities have launched efforts to clear the debris. Traffic will be restored once the road is declared safe for movement, an official said. (GNS)
