The Government Sunday announced summer vacations for all the educational institutions upto higher secondary level, including recognized private schools falling in summer zone of Jammu Division, shall be observed from 13 June 2015 to 27 July 2015.
According to Order No: 262-Edu of 2015 dated: 07-06-2015, consequent upon five day reduction in usual summer vacation period of 50 days, there shall be an equivalent increase in winter vacations of the summer zone schools of Jammu division, an official statement said this afternoon.
The order further said that any default on part of the private schools in observance of the calendar of summer vacations so authorized shall attract action under rules.
