SRINAGAR: The authorities suspended vehicular movement on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway on Monday after the thoroughfare was blocked by a mudslide near Mehad-Cafteria, Ramban, and a landslide at Tabela Chamalwass, Banihal.
In a post on X, traffic police advised people to refrain from travelling on NH-44 until weather conditions improve and the road is cleared. Officials emphasized consulting TCU before commencing the journey.
