SRINAGAR: Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) from Kashmir will be permitted on the Jammu-Srinagar highway tomorrow, if the weather and road conditions are favorable, authorities informed on Friday.

In a communique, traffic police asked the Traffic Control Unit (TCU) in Srinagar to consult with its Ramban counterpart before releasing traffic from Zig (Qazigund) between 0700 and 1200 hours.

Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) stranded between Jawahar Tunnel and Banihal will be permitted to travel to Jammu, according to the statement.

It also stated that no vehicles will be permitted before or after the cut-off time.
