J&K Bank Awareness Camp At SP College

Pursuing its initiative to educate masses about the financial products and services offered by J&K Bank, a zonal level marketing team of the bank conducted an awareness program at SP College Srinagar.

 Students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college showed keen interest in the program, which was also attended by the Principal of the college, Dr Yaseen Ahmad Shah, Incharge Marketing, Altaf Mehboob Gani and Assistant Vice President, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan.

The participants were provided with detailed information regarding the services and products offered by the bank. The students were also counseled regarding various government sponsored self-employment schemes. and the role played by J&K Bank in delivering the same to the aspiring youth. The participants interacted with the bank officials and inquired about various schemes of the bank.

Meanwhile, a 21- day training program on “CUTTING  & TAILORING (DRESS DESIGNING FOR WOMEN)” at RSETI Srinagar concluded on Wednesday. 23 candidates, mostly from Tailbal, Habak Motimohalla and Fisherman Colony attended the training. They were trained about the basics of Cutting & Tailoring techniques and the art of making value addition in the traditional tailoring work.

A warm send-off was given to the trainees during a valedictory function at the RSETI Institute in presence of Vice- President Zonal Head Kashmir V.M. Nazki. The Vice President desired the candidates to form the Self Help Groups for establishing their small enterprise of Cutting, Tailoring & Dress Designing. the formation of Self Help Group’s would ease the process of credit linkage for them  with the banks for running their enterprise smoothly.

Director RSETI, Ms Shahzadi assured the trainees of all support and handholding for two years till they establish their own enterprise.
