Srinagar: The J&K Bank had planned some maintenance activity for its IT infrastructure as a result of which its customers may not be able to have certain services available for a specific time, a spokesman of the bank said.
The maintenance activity will impact the ATMs, Debit Cards, e-Banking and Mobile Banking services. The spokesman said that these services will not be operational for four hours each on two days: February 25 and February 26. The down timings would be from 00 hours to 400 hours on February 25 and for the same time slot on February 26.
Given the timings, the maintenance activities would take place during dead of the night from 1 am in midnight to 4 am till wee hours, when most of the customers would be taking rest. However, it could impact the transactions in geographies where it would be day time.
J&K Bank being the main financial institution in the state has to upgrade its system to ensure that its customer base is up to date. It has already launched an upgraded mobile banking set-up. The bank takes care of J&K’s two-third of savings and advances.
