The Chairman announced a Preferred Customer status to the central university for providing its popular Phone Pe Loan facility for the faculty and staff of the Central University. Under the facility, the loan is applied through bank’s mobile application May and is processed/sanctioned in two hours besides dispensing with any visit to the Business Unit for availing of the loan.

The bank is helping us (the lead academic institutions) to train our students for self-employment ventures rather than looking at government jobs. The kind of schemes and financial assistance provided by the bank for the overall benefit of the students/youth is definitely going to address the unemployment issues in the state. I see a bright future as far as job market for our educated youth is concerned as the students we train will be future job providers instead of job seekers,” said the vice-chancellor.

He also appreciated the bank for agreeing to provide all facilities to the prospective entrepreneurs through a single window.

Notably, the Bank was instrumental in converting the Central University to Cashless Mode by introducing Easy Collect module/IPG services of the bank for front-line fee collections, besides providing Cashless facilities at canteen & hostel of the University by installing ATM/POS/e-Com machines.
