SRINAGAR: The gardeners working for Jammu and Kashmir bank held a protest on Thursday here at Press Enclave demanding to issue their appointment order which is pending from 2019.
March 19,2021 held a protest demonstration here in Srinagar demanding release of their pending wages and issuance of the appointment orders.
Scores of protesters assembled under the banner of Jammu And Kashmir Bank raised slogans of justice holding placards in their hands which read “Release our salaries” and “Issue our appointment orders”.
“We have been working as gardeners post for more than twenty years but our appointment orders are pending from March 2019,” one of the protestors said. The protestors also said that they have not received their salaries for the last five months.
The protesting gardeners requested the lieutenant governor and chairman of J&K Bank to look into the matter and release their salaries as soon as possible.
