District Level Review Committee meeting of District Baramulla for Quarter ending June 2018 was conducted by Lead Bank Office Baramulla a few days back under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Baramulla Dr Nasir Ahamad Naqash.

The spokesman said that lead District Manager Altaf Ahmad Wani informed the house that against a target of Rs 2595.12cr under Annual Credit Plan for District for the year 2018-19 an achievement of Rs 533.96cr has been recorded up to 30th June 2018, benefiting 16189 people under various schemes.

The priority sector advances of the district as on 30th June 2018 were Rs 2301.71 which is 66.10% of Total Advances. The CD ratio of the District at the end of Qtr June 2018 stood at 77.21%.

Notably, out of total credit disbursement of Rs 533.95 Cr to Quarter ending June 2018, J&K Bank alone has disbursed an amount of Rs 463.29Cr which is 87%. Likewise out of total Priority sector & Non Priority sectors disbursement for the quarter of Rs 350.92 Cr & 183.03 Cr respectively J&K Bank has disbursed an amount of     Rs 308.59 Cr  & 154.70 Cr respectively.

J&K Bank has a CD Ratio of 78.56 % to 30.06.2018 as against CD Ratio of 77.21 for the District.

Meanwhile, since the District has been designated as Aspirational District by MoF-GoI, the Cumulative targets for E-Gram Swaraj Abhiyan were not only achieved but surpassed.

Altaf also informed the house that for creating awareness among the masses about banking products & different schemes a total of 221 Awareness Camps were conducted during the Quarter in the District.

The District Development Commissioner while taking note of the achievements, appreciated all stakeholders for good work done during the E-GSA and impressed upon Banks & Line Departments to work in close coordination to achieve the goal of development & progress, Employment generation, and overall economic prosperity of the District. The chairman of the meeting while taking note of Low CD Ratio of few banks directed the concerned banks to improve their CD Ratio so that the good work done by other Banks does not get shadowed.

The meeting was attended by LDO Reserve Bank of India, DDM NABARD, District Coordinators of Banks and heads of Line Departments.

Meanwhile, J&K Bank has added three more automated teller machines (ATMs) to its network. One such machine was installed in north Kashmir, while as two were inaugurated in south Kashmir.

The spokesman said that deputy Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi inaugurated J&K Bank’s automated teller machine (ATM) at Sub District Hospital, Daver Gurez. The inauguration was done in presence of  J&K Bank Zonal Head Kashmir North, Karanjit Singh Cluster Head Sopore, Parvez Ahmad Mir, Incharge Business Support Division Zonal Office,  Tasneem Masudi, and Branch Head Daver Gurez along with respectable customers of the area.

The Zonal Head while speaking on the occasion said that the bank has opened these ATM’s to provide 24X7 facilities to the public, in line with its commitment of extending latest and world class banking facilities to the customers at their doorstep. Reiterating the role of the Bank in upliftment & development of the economy of the state & its people, the Zonal Head thanked the customers of the bank for their support and exhorted them to continue their patronage in future also.

Meanwhile, J&K Bank has installed two more automated teller machines (ATMs) in south Kashmir. An offsite automated teller machine (ATM) was installed at South Campus University of Kashmir Anantnag. The inauguration was done by the  Bank’s Zonal Head, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, in presence of the university’s Assistant Registrar Mohd Ayoub Wani and other faculty members. The bank’s officials including the branch head (BH) Sadiq Abad, IC Centralized team and other Zone staff members with a good gathering of students and local shopkeepers were also present on the occasion.

Another Offsite ATM at Wanpoh Chowk Islamabad was also inaugurated by the Zonal Head in presence of BH Wanpoh. Valuable customers, senior citizens and local businessmen were also present on the occasion.

    In ibps the qualification is simple graduate both for po and clerk. Thousands of unemployed graduates requests you,so to kindly make it as simple graduate as per ibps norms. This wil result in healthy competition and fair selection. Because students of other pvt universities have high percentage than our jammu nd kashmir universities..
