JK Bank Introduces Interactive Signages to Enhance Customer Experience

   
SRINAGAR: JK Bank on Wednesday launched Interactive Signages at its Corporate Headquarters. The initiative was inaugurated by MD and CEO Amitava Chatterjee in the presence of Executive Director Sudhir Gupta, General Managers, Deputy General Managers and other senior officials. With 100 branches already equipped with these self-service terminals, the completion of Phase 1 marks a major milestone in the project. The bank plans to expand this facility to more branches in subsequent phases.
Speaking at the launch, Amitava Chatterjee highlighted India’s rapid digital transformation in banking over the past five years, stating that JK Bank is committed to leading this evolution in its operational areas. “The introduction of these interactive digital signages is another step in this direction—serving as a one-stop digital touch point for empowering customers with vital banking information mandatory for regulatory compliance, grievance redressal mechanisms, product details and financial education,” he said.
He further emphasised that customer feedback is at the core of the bank’s service enhancement strategy. “These signages will provide invaluable insights directly from our branches. Given their interactive nature, we will continue to enrich their interface, ensuring our customers experience a seamless and fully digital banking journey,” he added.
On the occasion, Deputy General Manager (BPR/IT) Mohammad Muzafar Wani provided a detailed overview of the project.
Designed to streamline customer interactions, the Interactive Signages will function as digital kiosks offering a wide range of banking services. These self-service terminals will not only provide quick and convenient access to essential banking information but also aim to reduce waiting times at branches.
Beyond displaying essential banking information, the touch-screen kiosks feature a comprehensive notice board covering customer service details, service charges and grievance redressal mechanisms. They also provide insights into JK Bank’s products and services, government-sponsored schemes for financial inclusion, internet banking guidance, customer feedback collection, branch and ATM locators, disputed digital transaction resolution, loyalty rewards information and bill payment services for seamless transactions.
