J&K Bank Chairman Mushtaq Ahmad Saturday laid the foundation stone for the ‘J&K Bank Office Complex’ at Railhead Panama Chowk Jammu.
Regional Director (RBI) D Sethy, Vice chairman Jammu Development Authority (JDA) Mubarak Singh, Director on the bank’s board Masooda Jabeen, J&K bank’s Executive President Parvez Ahmad and Senior President M S Wani were also present on the occasion.
Chairman J&K bank on the occasion said that the expansion in our presence across the state for the last few years needs a matching increase in the bank’s human resource and infrastructural capacities. And we are taking necessary measures to meet both these requirements for a better and brighter future of our business.
“With our rich legacy of last seventy seven years, we shall continue to work for financial empowerment of the people particularly in our region amid ever-changing banking landscape”, he said.
A statement issued here said that the new Office Complex will be eco-friendly and will house a currency chest, business unit, an auditorium and an office of the bank. The state-of-the-art complex shall have two basements and five floors, the statement added.
