SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Bank Manager, Basharat Qazi is no more. He got seriously ill last night and was driven to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. He was around 54.
Qazi was unwell for some time and was admitted to the hospital twice for cardiac issues. Taking his health issues seriously, even the bank management transferred to the city so that he was able to manage his routine. Recently, however, his doctors advised him to bed rest as a result of which he was restricted to the home.
Last night, he fell down and the family took him to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. Qazi family lives in Gulposh Colony Bagh-e-Mehtab.
His funeral prayers will be offered at 10 am, family sources said.
