Expanding its network deeper into the rural areas of the state, J&K Bank Friday dedicated business units to public at Salehar in Tehsil Bishna in Jammu and Court Road Shopian in Kashmir.

The bank’s Vice-President and Zonal Head Arvind Gupta inaugurated the Salehar business unit in presence of Cluster Head Rajesh Gupta besides senior citizens and prominent persons, a company statement said this evening.

Zonal Head assured the audience of complete financial support and urged them to avail the bank’s services and products for their empowerment and development.

Hailing the initiative of the bank for opening the branch at this unbanked area one of participants said, “The opening of this branch will have far reaching results for us here as it will cater to around forty villages in the area.”

Head BU Bodh Raj promised the locals that he will ensure best customer services at the business unit while offering latest products to its customer at their doorstep.

Meanwhile, another business unit at Court Road Shopian began its operations from today. The business unit witnessed heavy footfall from the day one of its functioning.
