SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Bank has expanded its service network with the opening of a new branch at Ninety Feet Road in Soura, Srinagar. The new facility was inaugurated in the presence of a large gathering of customers from nearby areas such as Aanchar and Soura, along with local businessmen and residents.
The event marks another step in the Bank’s effort to increase accessibility to its services across the region, with the new branch bringing the total number of JK Bank branches to 1,008. The expansion is part of the Bank’s ongoing strategy to offer modern banking solutions and convenience to its customers.
In his address at the inauguration, the Bank’s leadership reaffirmed their commitment to customer convenience and spoke about the recent improvements in digital banking infrastructure aimed at enhancing customer experience. Emphasizing the importance of community engagement, the leadership called on customers to utilise the branch’s facilities to their fullest and work closely with the staff to ensure the branch’s success.

We are working to meet these expectations by moving beyond traditional banking models, adopting innovative and customer-centric approaches,” a Bank official stated during the event.

The new branch will offer a full range of banking services, including access to ATMs and cash recycling machines (CRMs). The Bank also reassured customers that their digital offerings are designed to remain competitive and efficient, supporting both traditional and online banking needs.
