SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Bank bid a warm farewell to its General Manager Tabassum Nazir, who superannuated yesterday after serving the institution with dedication for over 35 years in various key capacities.

A farewell function was held at the Bank’s Corporate Headquarters, chaired by Executive Director (ED) Sudhir Gupta, and attended by General Managers, Deputy General Managers, and other senior officials.
On the occasion, MD and CEO Amitava Chatterjee lauded Tabassum Nazir’s contributions to the Bank’s growth and success. “Her commitment and unique leadership will leave a lasting impact on the institution. She has been an inspiration to many, and we deeply appreciate her dedication over the decades. We wish her the very best in her future endeavours,” he said.
Commending her contribution, ED Sudhir Gupta noted that Tabassum Nazir had set a high benchmark of performance, particularly for younger staff and women officers of the Bank.
Expressing her gratitude, Tabassum Nazir thanked the Bank’s leadership and colleagues for their support throughout her journey. “I carry with me countless cherished memories from this beloved institution, which I consider the most precious gift of my life,” she said.
The event concluded with heartfelt wishes from her colleagues, who acknowledged her valuable contribution to the Bank’s rich legacy.
