SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir’s Chief Secretary, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta on Thursday said that uninterrupted electricity can be ensured only when all the consumers will pay their tariff with subsidy.
Addressing a gathering, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta, said that JK has borrowed Rs 31000 crore in the last three years to pay the electricity bills. “Things cannot change this way, and the situation cannot be improved,” he said.
“24*7 electricity can be made possible only when all the consumers will pay their bills with subsidies on time,” he said—(KNO)
