SRINAGAR: The Joint Coordination Committee of Graduate Engineers of Jammu and Kashmir, comprising the JK Civil Engineering Graduates Association (JKCEGA) and the JK Mechanical Engineering Graduates Association (JKMEGA), expresses its strongest condemnation of the horrific and senseless killing of innocent tourists in Pahalgam.
“This inhuman act of brutality has deeply shaken our collective conscience and serves as a grim reminder of the urgent need to uphold the sanctity of human life. Such barbaric violence warrants unequivocal condemnation from all sections of society,” reads a statement.
The JCCGE extends its sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to the bereaved families during this time of profound grief. “We stand in solidarity with them and appeal to the administration to ensure all possible support is extended to the affected families. We also urge the authorities to swiftly identify and bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice,” it reads.
As a mark of mourning and protest, the JCCGE called upon all its members across Jammu and Kashmir to observe a few minutes of silence at their respective offices and workplaces, in memory of the lives lost and to collectively denounce this cowardly act.
