SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government has reconstituted the Search Committee responsible for recommending appointments for the Chairperson of the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) and the Director of the Jammu & Kashmir State Council of Educational Research and Training (JKSCERT).
This follows the supersession of an earlier order issued in February 2023. The updatedJand order, issued on December 13, 2024, details the revised committee composition.
The committee will be chaired by the Administrative Secretary of the Agriculture Production Department and includes senior officials and Vice Chancellors from the universities of Jammu and Kashmir. The School Education Department will provide administrative support for the committee’s operations.
