This reconstitution modifies an earlier order issued in 2022 and is intended to strengthen coordination and oversight of digital agriculture initiatives in the Union Territory. Officials from the J&K e-Governance Agency, Economics and Statistics, Land Records, and the Agriculture Departments of both Jammu and Kashmir divisions are part of the committee.

The Project Director of Agristack, who also serves as Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department, has been included. The Director Agriculture Jammu will serve as the Member Secretary of the committee.

The reconstituted panel is expected to accelerate the implementation of Agristack to improve agricultural governance, planning, and service delivery through digital infrastructure. (JKNS)
