SRINAGAR: As many as 2135 new Covi-19 cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Of them, 1344 belonged to the Kashmir division. Srinagar tops the list with 632 cases.
Now Kashmir has 12113 active cases of whom more than half are in Srinagar district alone.
The new cases include Srinagar 632, Baramulla 136, Budgam 133, Pulwama 26, Kupwara 81, Anantnag 93, Bandipora 53, Ganderbal 43, Kulgam 139, and Shopian 8.
In the Jammu division, the bulk of cases were reported from Jammu where 472 new cases were reported. Other districts include 20 from Udhampur, 46 from Rajouri, 33 each from Doda and Kathua, 13 each from Samba and Kishtwar, 22 from Poonch, four from Rmban, and 135 from Reasi.
There are a total of 20601 cases active across Jammu and Kashmir with more than 12000 of them in Kashmir.
