SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district have attached a property of six proclaimed offenders who exfiltrated to across border.
“On February 28, 2024, acting under the order of District Magistrate Ganderbal (Order No. 13/DM/GBL, Dated 28-12-2023) pursuant to Sections 82 and 83 of the CrPC, Naib Tehsildar Kangan, accompanied by Ganderbal Police, attached immovable properties of six proclaimed offenders who have fled to Pak/PoK for illegal arms training, linked to FIR No. 82/2009 EIMCO Act at Police Station Kangan,” a police spokesperson said in a statement.
The attached properties include Agricultural Land measuring one Kanal one Marla under Survey No.134 in revenue Estate Kawcherwan Kangan, owned by Proclaimed Offender Bashir Ahmad Bhat S/O Gh Mohd Bhat R/O Kawcherwan Kangan, the Police said.
“Agricultural Land measuring 19.5 Marlas in Estate Tangchatter under Survey No.185 registered to Proclaimed Offender Mehraj ud Din Shah S/O Mohd Syed Shah R/O Tangchatter Kangan,” it said.
The police said that Agricultural Land measuring 1 Kannal 6 Marlas in Estate Akhal under Survey No.988 registered to Proclaimed Offender Fayaz Ahmad Shah S/O Mohd Yousuf Shah R/O Tangchatter Kangan.
“Agricultural Land measuring 1 Kanal 9 Marlas in Estate Tangchatter under Survey No.13 registered to Proclaimed Offender Fayaz Ahmad Shah S/O Mohd Yousuf Shah R/O Tangchatter Kangan,” it said.
“Agricultural Land measuring 1 Kanal 6 Marlas in Estate Akhal under Survey No.988 belonging to Proclaimed Offender Saif ud Din Shah S/O Mohd Yousaf Shah R/O Tangchatter Kangan,” it added.
“Agricultural Land measuring 1 Kanal 6 Marlas in Estate Akhal under Survey No.988 belonging to Proclaimed Offender Saif ud Din Shah S/O Mohd Yousaf Shah R/O Tangchatter Kangan,” it said.
“Agricultural Land measuring 1 Kanal 9 Marlas in Estate Tangchatter under Survey No.13 belonging to Proclaimed Offender Saif ud Din Shah S/O Mohd Yousaf Shah R/O Tangchatter,” the police added.
