SRINAGAR: The  Government on Sunday informed that 107 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 45 from Jammu division and 62 from the Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 324202. Also, one covid death has been reported from the Jammu division.

Moreover, 100 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 29 from Jammu Division and 71 from Kashmir Division.

Besides this, 62.11 percent of the population above the age of 18 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bulletin also informs that no new confirmed case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 43 in the UT of J&K.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 324202 positive cases, 1165 are Active Positive, 318635 have recovered and 4402 have died; 2162 in Jammu division and 2240 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 12907674 test results available, 12583472 samples have been tested as negative till today.

Till date 3130122 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 8822 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by the government, 1165 in isolation and 426653 in-home surveillance. Besides, 2689080 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 71980 positive cases (including 26 cases reported today) with 251 Active Positive, 70895 recovered (including 24 cases recovered today), 834 deaths; Baramulla has 23809 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 73 Active Positive, 23454 recovered (including 07 cases recovered today), 282 deaths; Budgam reported 23064 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today) with 64 active positive cases, 22794 recovered (including 09 cases recovered today), 206 deaths; Pulwama has 15281 positive cases with 34 Active Positive, 15053 recovered and 194 deaths; Kupwara has 14202 positive cases (including 01case reported today), 45 Active Positive, 13991 recoveries (including 03 cases recovered today), 166 deaths;  Anantnag district has 16434 positive cases (including 01 case reported today) with 63 Active Positive, 16166 recovered and 205 deaths;  Bandipora has 9600 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today), with 54 Active Positive, 9446 recoveries (including 11 cases recovered today) and 100 deaths; Ganderbal has 10070 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 64 Active Positive, 9928 recoveries (including 10 cases recovered today) and 78 deaths; Kulgam has 11398 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today) with 69 Active Positive, 11212 recoveries (including 02 cases recovered today) and 117 deaths while as Shopian has 5593 positive cases with 04 active positive cases, 5531 recoveries and 58 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 52972 positive cases (including 12 cases reported today) with 113 active positive cases, 51717 recoveries (including 10 cases recovered today), 1142 deaths; Udhampur has 11375 positive cases with 20 active positive cases, 11218 recoveries (including 01case recovered today) and 137 deaths; Rajouri has 11073 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 58 active positive, 10783 recoveries (including 06 cases recovered today) and 232 deaths; Doda has 7477 positive cases (including 10 cases reported today) with 65 Active positive, 7283 recovered (including 08 cases recovered today) and 129 deaths; Kathua has 9276 positive cases with 05 active positive cases, 9120 recovered  and 151 deaths; Samba has 7133 positive cases  with 06 active positive cases, 7007 recoveries  and 120 deaths; Kishtwar has 4742 positive cases with 45 Active Positive, 4653 recoveries (including 02 cases recovered today)  and 44 deaths;  Poonch has 6303 positive cases with 26 active positive, 6180 recoveries (including 01 case recovered today)  and 97 deaths;  Ramban has 5984 positive cases with 07 active positive cases, 5910 recoveries and 67 deaths while Reasi has 6433 positive cases with 98 active positive cases, 6292 recoveries and 43 deaths.

According to the bulletin, among the total 324202 positive cases in J&K, 23105 have been reported as travellers while 301097 as others.

The Bulletin said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.

The bulletin added that there are 2423 COVID dedicated beds, 2019 Isolation beds with 1988 vacant beds and 404 ICU beds where 400 beds are vacant in Jammu division while there are 3353 COVID dedicated beds, 3074 Isolation beds where 3039 beds are vacant and 279 ICU beds where 253 are vacant beds in Kashmir division. There are a total of 5776 COVID dedicated beds, 5093 Isolation beds with 5027 beds vacant and 683 ICU beds with 653 vacant beds in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
