SRINAGAR: The  Government on Monday informed that 117 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 55 from Jammu division and 62 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 329125.

Moreover, 118 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 14 from Jammu Division and 104 from Kashmir Division.

Besides this, 82.62 percent of the population above the age of 18 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bulletin also informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 46 in the UT of J&K.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 329125 positive cases, 1513 are Active Positive, 323190 have recovered and 4422 have died; 2173 in Jammu division and 2249 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 14709798 test results available, 14380673 samples have been tested as negative till today.

Till date 3527982 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 6911 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1513 in isolation and 463683 in home surveillance. Besides, 3051453 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 74113 positive cases (including 33 cases reported today) with 666 Active Positive, 72608 recovered (including 70 cases recovered today), 839 deaths; Baramulla has 24286 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today) with 173 Active Positive, 23831 recovered (including 06 cases recovered today), 282 deaths; Budgam reported 23561 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today) with 145 active positive cases, 23209 recovered (including 08 cases recovered today), 207 deaths; Pulwama has 15462 positive cases with 52 Active Positive, 15216 recovered and 194 deaths; Kupwara has 14344 positive cases, 28 Active Positive, 14150 recoveries (including 02 cases recovered today) and 166 deaths;  Anantnag district has 16518 positive cases with 25 Active Positive, 16288 recovered and 205 deaths;  Bandipora has 9735 positive cases with 39 Active Positive, 9594 recoveries and 102 deaths; Ganderbal has 10302 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today) with 80 Active Positive, 10143 recoveries and 79 deaths; Kulgam has 11476 positive cases 20 Active Positive, 11339 recoveries and 117 deaths while as Shopian has 5606 positive cases with 04 active positive cases, 5544 recoveries and 58 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 53153 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 50 active positive cases, 51959 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today), 1144 deaths; Udhampur has 11400 positive cases with 10 active positive cases, 11253 recoveries and 137 deaths; Rajouri has 11215 positive cases (including 40 cases reported today) with 66 active positive, 10912 recoveries  and 237 deaths; Doda has 7762 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 72 Active positive, 7557 recovered and 133 deaths; Kathua has 9293 positive cases with 05 active positive case, 9137 recovered  and 151 deaths; Samba has 7148 positive cases  with 06 active positive cases, 7022 recoveries  and 120 deaths; Kishtwar has 4813 positive cases with 08 Active Positive, 4761 recoveries and 44 deaths;  Poonch has 6348 positive cases with 08 active positive, 6243 recoveries and 97 deaths;  Ramban has 6019 positive cases with 12 active positive cases, 5940 recoveries and 67 deaths while Reasi has 6571 positive cases with 44 active positive cases, 6484 recoveries and 43 deaths.

According to the bulletin, among the total 329125 positive cases in J&K, 23442 have been reported as travelers while 305683 as others.

The Bulletin said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.

The bulletin added that there are 2423 COVID dedicated beds, 2019 Isolation beds with 2008 vacant beds and 404 ICU beds where 397 beds are vacant in Jammu division while there are 3353 COVID dedicated beds, 3074 Isolation beds where 3011 beds are vacant and 279 ICU beds where 260 are vacant beds in Kashmir division. There are a total of 5776 COVID dedicated beds, 5093 Isolation beds with 5019 beds vacant and 683 ICU beds with 657 vacant beds in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
