SRINAGAR: The  Government on Saturday informed that 146 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 25 from Jammu division and 121 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 326799.

Moreover, 138 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 27 from Jammu Division and 111 from Kashmir Division.

Besides this, 72.92 percent of the population above the age of 18 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bulletin also informs that one new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 46 in the UT of J&K.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 326799 positive cases, 1301 are Active Positive, 321086 have recovered and 4412 have died; 2167 in Jammu division and 2245 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 13887059 test results available, 13560260 samples have been tested as negative till today.

Till date 3376795 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 7742 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1301 in isolation and 465584 in home surveillance. Besides, 2897756 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 73070 positive cases (including 72 cases reported today) with 613 Active Positive, 71620 recovered (including 71 cases recovered today), 837 deaths; Baramulla has 24069 positive cases (including 15 cases reported today) with 145 Active Positive, 23630 recovered (including 03 cases recovered today), 282 deaths; Budgam reported 23344 positive cases (including 09 cases reported today) with 133 active positive cases, 23004 recovered (including 18 cases recovered today), 207 deaths; Pulwama has 15382 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today) with 28 Active Positive, 15160 recovered and 194 deaths; Kupwara has 14288 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today), 34 Active Positive, 14088 recoveries (including 02 cases recovered today) and 166 deaths;  Anantnag district has 16471 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today) with 22 Active Positive, 16244 recovered and 205 deaths;  Bandipora has 9671 positive cases with 27 Active Positive, 9543 recoveries and 101 deaths; Ganderbal has 10169 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 24 Active Positive, 10067 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today) and 78 deaths; Kulgam has 11448 positive cases 29 Active Positive, 11302 recoveries and 117 deaths while as Shopian has 5602 positive cases with 05 active positive cases, 5539 recoveries and 58 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 53064 positive cases (including 04 cases reported today) with 49 active positive cases, 51873 recoveries (including 07 cases recovered today), 1142 deaths; Udhampur has 11388 positive cases with 06 active positive cases, 11245 recoveries and 137 deaths; Rajouri has 11124 positive cases with 26 active positive, 10862 recoveries  and 236 deaths; Doda has 7661 positive cases (including 13 cases reported today) with 56 Active positive, 7475 recovered (including 09 cases recovered today) and 130 deaths; Kathua has 9287 positive cases with one active positive case, 9135 recovered  and 151 deaths; Samba has 7138 positive cases  with 05 active positive cases, 7013 recoveries  and 120 deaths; Kishtwar has 4797 positive cases with 16 Active Positive, 4737 recoveries and 44 deaths;  Poonch has 6334 positive cases with 13 active positive, 6224 recoveries and 97 deaths;  Ramban has 6005 positive cases with 12 active positive cases, 5926 recoveries and 67 deaths while Reasi has 6487 positive cases with 45 active positive cases, 6399 recoveries and 43 deaths.

According to the bulletin, among the total 326799 positive cases in J&K, 23228 have been reported as travelers while 303571 as others.

The Bulletin said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.

The bulletin added that there are 2423 COVID dedicated beds, 2019 Isolation beds with 2010 vacant beds and 404 ICU beds where 402 beds are vacant in Jammu division while there are 3353 COVID dedicated beds, 3074 Isolation beds where 3039 beds are vacant and 279 ICU beds where 262 are vacant beds in Kashmir division. There are a total of 5776 COVID dedicated beds, 5093 Isolation beds with 5049 beds vacant and 683 ICU beds with 664 vacant beds in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
