SRINAGAR: The  Government on Tuesday informed that 150 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 38 from Jammu division and 112 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 327140.

Moreover, 72 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 25 from Jammu Division and 47 from Kashmir Division.

Besides this, 74.62 percent of the population above the age of 18 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bulletin also informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 46 in the UT of J&K.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 327140 positive cases, 1325 are Active Positive, 321401 have recovered and 4414 have died; 2168 in Jammu division and 2246 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 14034141 test results available, 13707001 samples have been tested as negative till today.

Till date 3411311 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 8858 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1325 in isolation and 465028 in home surveillance. Besides, 2931686 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 73234 positive cases (including 75 cases reported today) with 656 Active Positive, 71741 recovered (including 23 cases recovered today), 837 deaths; Baramulla has 24100 positive cases (including 10 cases reported today) with 151 Active Positive, 23667 recovered (including 05 cases recovered today), 282 deaths; Budgam reported 23370 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today) with 119 active positive cases, 23044 recovered (including 03 cases recovered today), 207 deaths; Pulwama has 15387 positive cases with 27 Active Positive, 15166 recovered and 194 deaths; Kupwara has 14297 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today), 33 Active Positive, 14098 recoveries (including 03 cases recovered today) and 166 deaths;  Anantnag district has 16478 positive cases with 20 Active Positive, 16253 recovered and 205 deaths;  Bandipora has 9682 positive cases with 29 Active Positive, 9552 recoveries and 101 deaths; Ganderbal has 10188 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today) with 30 Active Positive, 10079 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today) and 79 deaths; Kulgam has 11455 positive cases 32 Active Positive, 11306 recoveries and 117 deaths while as Shopian has 5602 positive cases with 03 active positive cases, 5541 recoveries and 58 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 53077 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today) with 47 active positive cases, 51888 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today), 1142 deaths; Udhampur has 11389 positive cases with 07 active positive cases, 11245 recoveries and 137 deaths; Rajouri has 11130 positive cases with 23 active positive, 10871 recoveries  and 236 deaths; Doda has 7680 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 50 Active positive, 7499 recovered (including 12 cases recovered today) and 131 deaths; Kathua has 9288 positive cases with two active positive case, 9135 recovered  and 151 deaths; Samba has 7138 positive cases  with 05 active positive cases, 7013 recoveries  and 120 deaths; Kishtwar has 4799 positive cases with 12 Active Positive, 4743 recoveries and 44 deaths;  Poonch has 6339 positive cases with 15 active positive, 6227 recoveries and 97 deaths;  Ramban has 6007 positive cases with 09 active positive cases, 5931 recoveries and 67 deaths while Reasi has 6500 positive cases with 55 active positive cases, 6402 recoveries and 43 deaths.

According to the bulletin, among the total 327140 positive cases in J&K, 23262 have been reported as travelers while 303878 as others.

The Bulletin said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.

The bulletin added that there are 2423 COVID dedicated beds, 2019 Isolation beds with 2010 vacant beds and 404 ICU beds where 400 beds are vacant in Jammu division while there are 3353 COVID dedicated beds, 3074 Isolation beds where 3001 beds are vacant and 279 ICU beds where 265 are vacant beds in Kashmir division. There are a total of 5776 COVID dedicated beds, 5093 Isolation beds with 5011 beds vacant and 683 ICU beds with 665 vacant beds in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
