SRINAGAR: The  Government on Wednesday informed that 151 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 21 from Jammu division and 130 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 326310. Also, one COVID death has been reported from Kashmir Division.

Moreover, 163 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 20 from Jammu Division and 143 from Kashmir Division.

Besides this, 71.02 percent of the population above the age of 18 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bulletin also informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 45 in the UT of J&K.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 326310 positive cases, 1251 are Active Positive, 320648 have recovered and 4411 have died; 2166 in Jammu division and 2245 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 13729496 test results available, 13403186 samples have been tested as negative till today.

Till date 3344050 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 8250 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1251 in isolation and 466322 in home surveillance. Besides, 2863816 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 72838 positive cases (including 75 cases reported today) with 558 Active Positive, 71443 recovered (including 74 cases recovered today), 837 deaths; Baramulla has 24020 positive cases (including 31 cases reported today) with 156 Active Positive, 23582 recovered (including 15 cases recovered today), 282 deaths; Budgam reported 23294 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 131 active positive cases, 22956 recovered (including 20 cases recovered today), 207 deaths; Pulwama has 15368 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today) with 32 Active Positive, 15142 recovered and 194 deaths; Kupwara has 14266 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today), 24 Active Positive, 14076 recoveries (including 04 cases recovered today) and 166 deaths;  Anantnag district has 16461 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today) with 21 Active Positive, 16235 recovered and 205 deaths;  Bandipora has 9658 positive cases with 31 Active Positive, 9526 recoveries and 101 deaths; Ganderbal has 10152 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today) with 20 Active Positive, 10054 recoveries (including 10 cases recovered today) and 78 deaths; Kulgam has 11438 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 21 Active Positive, 11300 recoveries and 117 deaths while as Shopian has 5601 positive cases with 05 active positive cases, 5538 recoveries and 58 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 53057 positive cases (including 04 cases reported today) with 59 active positive cases, 51856 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today), 1142 deaths; Udhampur has 11385 positive cases with 05 active positive cases, 11243 recoveries and 137 deaths; Rajouri has 11119 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 26 active positive, 10858 recoveries  and 235 deaths; Doda has 7634 positive cases (including 04 cases reported today) with 80 Active positive, 7424 recovered (including 07 cases recovered today) and 130 deaths; Kathua has 9286 positive cases with no active positive case, 9135 recovered  and 151 deaths; Samba has 7138 positive cases  with 05 active positive cases, 7013 recoveries  and 120 deaths; Kishtwar has 4795 positive cases with 20 Active Positive, 4731 recoveries and 44 deaths;  Poonch has 6328 positive cases with 12 active positive, 6219 recoveries and 97 deaths;  Ramban has 6002 positive cases with 14 active positive cases, 5921 recoveries and 67 deaths while Reasi has 6470 positive cases with 31 active positive cases, 6396 recoveries and 43 deaths.

According to the bulletin, among the total 326310 positive cases in J&K, 23195 have been reported as travelers while 303115 as others.

The Bulletin said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.

The bulletin added that there are 2423 COVID dedicated beds, 2019 Isolation beds with 2004 vacant beds and 404 ICU beds where 401 beds are vacant in Jammu division while there are 3353 COVID dedicated beds, 3074 Isolation beds where 3037 beds are vacant and 279 ICU beds where 264 are vacant beds in Kashmir division. There are a total of 5776 COVID dedicated beds, 5093 Isolation beds with 5041 beds vacant and 683 ICU beds with 665 vacant beds in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
