SRINAGAR: The  Government on Wednesday informed that 156 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 32 from the Jammu division and 124 from the Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 327296. Also, one COVID death has been reported from Jammu Division.

Moreover, 131 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 32 from Jammu Division and 99 from Kashmir Division.

Besides this, 75.06 percent of the population above the age of 18 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bulletin also informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 46 in the UT of J&K.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 327296 positive cases, 1349 are Active Positive, 321532 have recovered and 4415 have died; 2169 in Jammu division and 2246 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 14090434 test results available, 13763138 samples have been tested as negative till today.

Till date 3423411 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 8418 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by the government, 1349 in isolation and 464024 in home surveillance. Besides, 2945205 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 73311 positive cases (including 77 cases reported today) with 686 Active Positive, 71788 recovered (including 47 cases recovered today), 837 deaths; Baramulla has 24110 positive cases (including 10 cases reported today) with 149 Active Positive, 23679 recovered (including 12 cases recovered today), 282 deaths; Budgam reported 23382 positive cases (including 12 cases reported today) with 118 active positive cases, 23057 recovered (including 13 cases recovered today), 207 deaths; Pulwama has 15392 positive cases with 29 Active Positive, 15169 recovered and 194 deaths; Kupwara has 14300 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today), 32 Active Positive, 14102 recoveries (including 04 cases recovered today) and 166 deaths;  Anantnag district has 16483 positive cases with 18 Active Positive, 16260 recovered and 205 deaths;  Bandipora has 9687 positive cases with 29 Active Positive, 9557 recoveries and 101 deaths; Ganderbal has 10194 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 31 Active Positive, 10084 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today) and 79 deaths; Kulgam has 11456 positive cases 30 Active Positive, 11309 recoveries and 117 deaths while as Shopian has 5602 positive cases with 03 active positive cases, 5541 recoveries and 58 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 53087 positive cases (including 10 cases reported today) with 51 active positive cases, 51893 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today), 1143 deaths; Udhampur has 11389 positive cases with 07 active positive cases, 11245 recoveries and 137 deaths; Rajouri has 11134 positive cases with 24 active positive, 10874 recoveries  and 236 deaths; Doda has 7686 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 46 Active positive, 7509 recovered (including 10 cases recovered today) and 131 deaths; Kathua has 9288 positive cases with 02 active positive case, 9135 recovered  and 151 deaths; Samba has 7138 positive cases  with 02 active positive cases, 7016 recoveries  and 120 deaths; Kishtwar has 4801 positive cases with 12 Active Positive, 4745 recoveries and 44 deaths;  Poonch has 6340 positive cases with 14 active positive, 6229 recoveries and 97 deaths;  Ramban has 6008 positive cases with 10 active positive cases, 5931 recoveries and 67 deaths while Reasi has 6508 positive cases with 56 active positive cases, 6409 recoveries and 43 deaths.

According to the bulletin, among the total 327296 positive cases in J&K, 23284 have been reported as travelers while 304012 as others.

The Bulletin said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.

The bulletin added that there are 2423 COVID dedicated beds, 2019 Isolation beds with 2012 vacant beds and 404 ICU beds where 399 beds are vacant in Jammu division while there are 3353 COVID dedicated beds, 3074 Isolation beds where 2999 beds are vacant and 279 ICU beds where 267 are vacant beds in Kashmir division. There are a total of 5776 COVID dedicated beds, 5093 Isolation beds with 5011 beds vacant and 683 ICU beds with 666 vacant beds in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
