SRINAGAR: The  Government on Monday informed that 86 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 08 from Jammu division and 78 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 326990.

Moreover, 124 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 21 from Jammu Division and 103 from Kashmir Division.

Besides this, 74.04 percent of the population above the age of 18 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bulletin also informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 46 in the UT of J&K.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 326990 positive cases, 1247 are Active Positive, 321329 have recovered and 4414 have died; 2168 in Jammu division and 2246 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 13984660 test results available, 13657670 samples have been tested as negative till today.

Till date 3398646 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 8693 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1247 in isolation and 465076 in home surveillance. Besides, 2919216 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 73159 positive cases (including 48 cases reported today) with 604 Active Positive, 71718 recovered (including 48 cases recovered today), 837 deaths; Baramulla has 24090 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today) with 146 Active Positive, 23662 recovered (including 06 cases recovered today), 282 deaths; Budgam reported 23359 positive cases (including 09 cases reported today) with 111 active positive cases, 23041 recovered (including 26 cases recovered today), 207 deaths; Pulwama has 15383 positive cases with 25 Active Positive, 15164 recovered and 194 deaths; Kupwara has 14294 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today), 33 Active Positive, 14095 recoveries (including 04 cases recovered today) and 166 deaths;  Anantnag district has 16476 positive cases with 21 Active Positive, 16250 recovered and 205 deaths;  Bandipora has 9679 positive cases with 29 Active Positive, 9549 recoveries and 101 deaths; Ganderbal has 10185 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 32 Active Positive, 10074 recoveries (including 04 cases recovered today) and 79 deaths; Kulgam has 11454 positive cases 31 Active Positive, 11306 recoveries and 117 deaths while as Shopian has 5602 positive cases with 03 active positive cases, 5541 recoveries and 58 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 53069 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today) with 44 active positive cases, 51883 recoveries (including 06 cases recovered today), 1142 deaths; Udhampur has 11389 positive cases with 07 active positive cases, 11245 recoveries and 137 deaths; Rajouri has 11125 positive cases with 22 active positive, 10867 recoveries  and 236 deaths; Doda has 7673 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 55 Active positive, 7487 recovered (including 08 cases recovered today) and 131 deaths; Kathua has 9287 positive cases with one active positive case, 9135 recovered  and 151 deaths; Samba has 7138 positive cases  with 05 active positive cases, 7013 recoveries  and 120 deaths; Kishtwar has 4797 positive cases with 13 Active Positive, 4740 recoveries and 44 deaths;  Poonch has 6335 positive cases with 11 active positive, 6227 recoveries and 97 deaths;  Ramban has 6006 positive cases with 08 active positive cases, 5931 recoveries and 67 deaths while Reasi has 6490 positive cases with 46 active positive cases, 6401 recoveries and 43 deaths.

According to the bulletin, among the total 326990 positive cases in J&K, 23248 have been reported as travelers while 303742 as others.

The Bulletin said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.

The bulletin added that there are 2423 COVID dedicated beds, 2019 Isolation beds with 2010 vacant beds and 404 ICU beds where 401 beds are vacant in Jammu division while there are 3353 COVID dedicated beds, 3074 Isolation beds where 3025 beds are vacant and 279 ICU beds where 265 are vacant beds in Kashmir division. There are a total of 5776 COVID dedicated beds, 5093 Isolation beds with 5035 beds vacant and 683 ICU beds with 666 vacant beds in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
