SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir senior women’s football team departed for Kerala on Monday for National Football Championship 2021.
According to an official statement, a contingent of 20 women’s football players and three officials have left for Kerala on November 22, 2021, to participate in the 26th Senior Women’s National Football Championship 2021 scheduled to be held at Kozhikode Kerala from November 29, 2021, to December 3, 2021.
The team was screened by Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, J&K Sports Council on November 22, 2021, at Jammu, said the statement.
“The J&K Teams has to lock horns with Skimm, Maharashtra and Arunachal Pradesh in the tournament,” it reads.
“The team is accompanied by three officials of JK which Include Alka Naseer (Manager), Masood Maqbool (Coach) and Ritasha (PHYSIO),” it added.
