SRINAGAR: Government on Friday transferred a JKAS officer and assigned additional charge of posts to three others.
According to an order, Basharat Hussain, JKAS, has been posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department, with immediate effect.
“Further, Fareed Ahmad Kohli, JKAS, General Manager, DIC, Rajouri, holding additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Rajouri, shall also hold the charge of the post of Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Rajouri, in addition to his own duties, till further orders,” the order reads.
As per separate order, Dr Ravi Shanker Sharma, JKAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, has been asked to hold the charge of the post of Mission Director, Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
“The officer shall take over the charge of the post W.e.f. 01.04.2024 upon superannuation of Mr Ashok Kumar, JKAS.”
Separately, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, JKAS, Managing Director, JK Agro Industries Kashmir Development Corporation, shall hold the charge of the post of Director General, Floriculture, Kashmir, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
“The officer shall take over the charge of the post w.e.f. 01.04.2024 upon superannuation of Farooq Ahmad Rather, JKAS.” (GNS)
