SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has rescheduled the M.Sc Nursing Entrance Examination, which was cancelled on June 7 following the detection of discrepancies in the OMR answer sheets distributed to candidates.
According to a notification issued by the Board on Wednesday, the examination will now be conducted on June 16, 2026, in the evening shift from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The entrance test was cancelled after a data mismatch was detected in the OMR answer sheets during the examination process, prompting the Board to annul the test and initiate fresh arrangements.
JKBOPEE had initially announced that the examination would be reconducted on June 23. Subsequently, the date was advanced and a notification scheduling the test for June 19 was uploaded on the Board’s official website.
However, following representations from aspiring candidates seeking a revision of the schedule, the Board reviewed the matter and decided to hold the examination on June 16 instead.
JKBOPEE said a separate notification regarding the downloading of fresh admit cards would be issued shortly. Candidates have been advised to regularly visit the Board’s official website for updates and further instructions related to the examination.
