SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced the dates for the Secondary School Examination (10th), Higher Secondary Examination Part – II (12th class) in Kashmir division.
The class 10 exam will start on November 9 and will end on November 27. The schedule is as below:
The class 12 exam will start on November 10 and end on December 9. The exam will be conducted for all streams – Science, Arts, Home Science, and Commerce. The schedule for the same is as below:
Date sheet also reads that candidates are advised to wear face masks and adhere to social distancing norms.
For officials and concerned teachers, statement read that all superintendents/head of institutions (inspector) of examination centres shall ensure complete sanitising of desk/examination/rooms one day before the commence of examinations and strictly follow the SOP’s issued by administration/health appointment from time to time.
Keeping winters in view, the statement reads that all the heads of institutions shall ensure proper heating and lighting arrangements in the examination rooms/halls.
Pertinent to mention that students of 10th and 12th have been given 30% relaxation in exams_COVID19. Students of 11th class are conducting protests and demanding mass promotion as classwork remained suspended from last several months.
Earlier there were speculations of that JKBOSE might defer the exams as panchayat elections are going to hold. JKBOSE already issued mass promotion to bi-annual students of 10th and 12th class.
