The board also specified that the annual regular exams for hard zones for 10th to 12th standard students will take place from the second week of April 2024.

As per a statement by the Director Academics of JKBOSE, annual regular exams for 10th standard will be held from the second week of March 2024 in soft zones. Likewise, the annual exams for 11th standard in soft zones will commence from the last week of March, and exams for 12th standard will start in the first week of March 2024.

JKBOSE further revealed that exams for hard and challenging zones in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh divisions for 10th and 12th standard will be conducted from the second week of April 2024, and for 11th standard, they will be held in the last week of April.

The board outlined its schedule for announcing results, stating that for both hard and soft zones, the results of 10th standard exams will be released in the third week of June 2024, 11th standard results in the last week of June, and results of 12th standard exams in the second week of June 2024.

It’s important to note that the BOSE has identified 444 schools in both divisions of Jammu and Kashmir, where annual regular exams will be held in April instead of March. Additionally, the entire Leh district of the Union Territory of Ladakh has been categorised as a hard zone, and exams will accordingly take place in April.

The board emphasised that the annual regular exams for hard zones or specific areas in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will be conducted in the month of April. (KNO)
