SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the date sheet for the Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12) Annual (Private) and Bi-Annual 2025 examinations. The schedule applies to both soft and hard zone areas of the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
According to the date sheet, the exams will commence from July 26, 2025, and will be held in the morning shift starting at 10:00 AM.
The first paper scheduled for July 26 includes subjects such as Computer Science, Information Practices, Environmental Science, Physical Education, Functional English, Islamic Studies, Vedic Studies, Buddhist Studies, Electronics, Food Technology, and Travel, Tourism and Hotel Management. These subjects are listed across various faculties including Science, Arts, Home Science, and Commerce.
Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Sociology will be held on July 28, followed by Biology, Botany, Zoology, Statistics, and Political Science on July 30. Vocational subjects such as IT & ITeS, Retail, Healthcare, Tourism & Hospitality, Security, Agriculture, Media and Entertainment, Beauty and Wellness, Physical Education and Sports, Telecommunication, Plumbing, Electronics and Hardware, Automotive, and Apparel Made-Ups & Home Furnishing are scheduled for August 1.
General English, a common subject across all faculties, will be conducted on August 4. Other major subjects include Chemistry, Arabic, Persian, Sanskrit, and Economics on August 6; Geology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Urdu, Hindi, Kashmiri, Dogri, Punjabi, Bhoti, and Business Studies on August 8; Physics, Home Science (Elective), History, Public Administration, Human Development, and Business Mathematics on August 11. The last paper, Geography, is scheduled for August 13.
JKBOSE has clarified that the date sheet for practical examinations will be issued separately by the respective Joint Secretaries.
