SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced a temporary shutdown of its official website for technical upgradation, resulting in the suspension of all online services for several days.
According to the Board, the website will remain unavailable for four to five days starting January 19, 2026, as part of system upgrades being carried out in line with operational guidelines.
During the shutdown, all online services, including applications for re-evaluation and requests for photocopies of answer scripts, will remain suspended, officials said.
JKBOSE said the temporary closure is necessary to ensure improved functionality and smoother service delivery once the website becomes operational again.
The Board expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to students, parents and other stakeholders, and advised them to plan their online submissions accordingly and await further updates.
The announcement follows the declaration of the Class 10 and Class 12 examination results by JKBOSE on Wednesday.
