Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has paid rich tributes to militants who were killed in Tral town of Pulwama district during an encounter on Tuesday.

The spokesman said two militants Abid Ahmad of Khargund and Ishfaq Ahmad of Handoora Tral were killed along with two non-local militants in Laam area during a gunfight.

While paying glowing tributes to the militants, JKDFP spokesperson said in a statement that killing of militants is a matter of concern but it proves the commitment of Kashmiri people towards the cause of freedom. The peaceful protests of people are also writing on the wall for India.

The spokesperson expressed grief over the day to day loss of lives in Kashmir and said that Kashmiri people have sacrificed their everything in the way of the noble cause, so it is high time for India to accept the ground realities about Kashmir dispute and take practical steps to resolve it. Kashmiri people are committed to the cause and no proportion of force or coercion can break their resolve, the spokesperson added.

The JKDFP expressed solidarity with the families of the militants and assured them that their sacrifices will be safeguarded.

Meanwhile, the JKDFP spokesperson condoled the Convener of Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir chapter, Ghulam Mohammad Safi on the demise of his wife. The party expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise and exhibited solidarity with Ghulam Mohammad Safi. The party expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with other members of the bereaved family of Ghulam Mohammad Safi.
