JKEDI condoles demise of young Kashmiri entrepreneur Umar Lalpuri


Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) has condoled the accidental death of a promising entrepreneur Umar Lalpuri of Ellahi Bagh, Buchpora.

Umar lost his life when a boat carrying five persons capsized in Nigeen Lake near Ashai Bagh on Tuesday evening. While three of them were able to save their lives Umar and another person Sajad Ahmad drowned.  He was 30.

An inspiration for many of JKEDI promoted entrepreneurs, Umar after passing 10 +2 started M/s Technocraft Steel Industry manufacturing G I nipples etc after he was trained and sponsored by JKEDI under the Youth Startup Loan Scheme in 2013.

JKEDI remembered Umar Lalpuri and paid tributes to the departed soul. The institute shares the grief with the Lalpuri family and expresses solidarity with them.
