JKEDI in collaboration with an NGO namely Hope Disability Centre organized daylong awareness programme on Entrepreneurship for People with Disabilities here at Wayil, Ganderbal.
The main aim of organizing the programme was to spread awareness about entrepreneurship schemes being offered by JKEDI and it laid special emphasis on people with disabilities and their development, an official statement said this evening.
Associate Project Manager JKEDI, Ganderbal, Imtiyaz Ahad Malla spoke about various schemes available under the policies of JKEDI. He said that JKEDI is taking special initiatives for people with special needs and also provides them training in various sectors including manufacturing, service and Agro allied in the upcoming times thereby, making them self reliant and self-dependent.
