Jammu and Kashmir Electrical Engineering Graduates Association has thanked governor administration or promoting 192 engineers and issuance of final seniority list of Junior engineers in Power development department (PDD).
In a statement here a spokesman of JKEEGA said, “we would like to thank Advisor K K Sharma, Chief Secretary B V R Subramaniyam and Commissioner Secretary Power Development Department Hirdesh Kumar Singh for the promotion of 192 engineers at various levels viz. JE to AE, AE to AEE, AEE to Xen and Xen to SE and issuance of final seniority list of Junior Engineers.”
“We would also like to thank Arun Kumar Kotwal, Additional Secretary PDD and his subordinate staff of HRM branch whose relentless efforts have boosted the morale of whole engineering fraternity,” the spokesman said.
“The final seniority list of Junior Engineers was issued after a gap of 11 years and it will pave a long way for addressing the basic issue of regularization. The long-pending demand of JKEEGA for maintenance of quota as per J&K Engineering (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules was addressed and rule of law was upheld in all the promotions,” he said.
The spokesman said, “We hope that the other long pending demands of JKEEGA viz. Regularization at all levels, Extension of Assured Career Progression Scheme in favour of Engineers &other issues which stands discussed will also be addressed in a time-bound manner.”
