Srinagar

Police on Thursday arrested Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik soon after he attended a meeting of Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) at Syed Ali Geelani’s Hyderpora residence.

Before his arrest, Malik while talking to the media said that on one hand, the government has ordered for a Ramadhan ceasefire and on the other resistance leaders are being arrested on the very first day of Ramadhan.

Pertinently, JRL has called for protests after Friday prayers tomorrow as a mark of solidarity with the Palestinians.

JRL has also appealed to the people to march to the historic Lal Chowk on Saturday against PM Modi’s Kashmir visit.
