SRINAGAR: Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, Additional General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) and former minister, criticised the Union Territory Administration for its indifferent approach towards the people in border areas during a meeting at village Lalyana in Bishnah.

Rattan Lal Gupta, NC Provincial President Jammu, directly criticised the government’s delay in holding elections, stating, “Why is the Govt is shying from holding Panchayat, ULB and Assembly polls in J&K?” He emphasised, “People’s miseries have increased multifold in absence of a duly elected Govt in Jammu and Kashmir.”

Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Provincial Secretary JKNC, stressed the need to support Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah to overcome misrule in J&K. Pardeep Bali, Provincial Secretary Jammu, and Vijay Lochan, Chairman SC Cell, expressed confidence in the continued support of the people of Bishnah for the National Conference.

Pardeep Bali, Provincial Secretary Jammu, expressed confidence in the people’s continued support, stating, “The people of Bishnah have reposed faith in the National Conference, and we are confident that they will continue to support National Conference.”

Several figures attended the meeting, including Abdul Gani Teli, Chairman of OBC Cell, who directly participated in discussions about the concerns of the people in border areas.
