SRINAGAR: A constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police was killed on Wednesday in a road accident on the Mughal Road near Dograin area of Surankote in Poonch district.
Officials said that a Swift car lost control on the Mughal Road, resulting in the driver’s death on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Ruksar Khan, son of Master Quresh Khan, a resident of Gultha Harni. The accident occurred while the constable was travelling from Srinagar to Mendhar.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident. (GNS)
