The protesting workers expressed their dismay and termed the suspension as a regrettable and unprecedented act within the parliament.

Speaking to the media persons, the protesting JKPCC workers said, “These members were elected by votes, and suspending them is very unfortunate and shameful. We have never seen such an incident taking place in the parliament before, and we condemn this act,” said Imtiyaz Khan, the party’s District Srinagar President.

“We demand the cancellation of the suspension of these members, and the protest won’t stop until the suspension is revoked,” they added—(KNO)
